The cost per country and 4 weeks travel will be about US $1,000 for 2 persons. This includes a one week stay in each city in a fully furnished  from October

tcondo/home with cooking facilities etc. This rental will cost $1,000 per month for 2 persons.

Another $1,000 will be sufficient for food, local travel, sight seeing etc for 2 persons.

So the total cost for two persons or a couple is $2,000 per month for 4 weeks of travel in Malaysia.

If Malaysia is not in your travel plans, let us know which country in South East Asia you would be interested in. Or in South America. Once South Easia is fully functional, we will be launching cities in South America.

We have chosen 4 cities in Malaysia where most American and European expats live:

Week 1: Kuala Lumpur – is the capital of Malaysia and has a lot of attractions that will keep you busy for a week. It is very easy to fly into Kuala Lumpur from anywhere in the world and start your Malaysia trip. In Kuala Lumpur, you can visit many world attractions like Batu Caves temple, Twin Towers, Cameron Highlands, Genting Highlands, Melaka, Port Dickson etc.

Week 2: Johor Baru which is located at the southern tip of Malaysia just across from Singapore. From Johor Baru one can make day trips to Singapore for 2-3 days as day trips so you don’t have to spend the exorbitant amount that would be needed if you stayed in Singapore.  Singapore is just 15 minutes from Johor baru across the strait by train or bus. In Johor Baru you can visit the huge retirement community built by Chinese developers called Forest garden and other attractions nearby.

Week 3: Penang- is at the northern end of Malaysia. It’s a favorite place for expats with lots of water sports, beach living options and many more activities.Penang is world famous for its food starting with Laksa, Rojak, and all international food.

Week 4: Langkawi – it’s 2-3 hours by ferry from Penang – the most popular destination in Malaysia for water loving people. In Langkawi you can visit the skybridge built with glass, go deep sea on boats, water sports etc.

Please choose your preferred week to start your travel in this form and we will get back to you with the final arrangements:

Wheel of World Slow Travel

Cheap Slow World Travel

There is a vast array of travel-related content available on YouTube, encompassing hundreds of videos. While many YouTubers focus on “low-cost travel,” their discussions typically revolve around living on a budget of “under $1,000 a month.” However, it’s important to note that for those looking to embark on short-term world travel, sustaining such a budget can be challenging unless they are willing to stay in accommodations like youth hostels with shared facilities.

Our aspiration is to make global travel a comfortable and reasonably priced endeavor.

Numerous YouTubers produce excellent videos showcasing various cities and countries. Nevertheless, when it comes to planning an actual visit, all the necessary bookings and arrangements must be handled independently.

There are a handful of organizations that offer “expat exploratory trips,” but the costs associated with these trips are often comparable to what one could achieve on their own or higher.

Our mission is to make a positive impact on the global travel community, similar to the way we’ve approached retirement communities. We aim to assist fellow travelers in experiencing comfort and convenience while keeping expenses in check. Drawing from the model of my retirement communities, where each household does not prepare their own food but food is cooked in a common kitchen, we intend to introduce a similar concept to the world of travel.

Our goal is to enable travelers to maintain a comprehensive monthly budget of under $2,000, covering expenses such as rent, food, travel, and entertainment. Our philosophy is to take a leisurely and immersive approach to travel, allowing individuals to truly savor their global adventures. Join us on this journey of discovery and exploration as we introduce the world to the concept of Wheel of World Slow Travel!
